Bath Street, Alice Springs

Bennett Design was appointed by The Department of Construction and Infrastructure to design and document an extensive refurbishment of an existing 3 storey building on Bath St in Alice Springs. The purpose of this building is to provide suitable recovery accommodation for remote outstation patients receiving treatment from the Alice Springs Hospital. Our primary outcome was to bring the building and accommodation facilities up to meet current BCA, DDA standards aswell as additional acts and regulations. We are currently in the final documentation stage, with the construction phases due for completion in February 2011.
